Join us for our annual end-of-season Birds and Breakfast Picnic.  We will meet at Pavilion #3 - it's the first one on the right after you enter the park.

Breakfast will be at 8 am, followed by a brief meeting. Bring a breakfast dish to share.  Coffee will be provided.

Afterwards, we'll do a little birding on the 3/4-mile nature trail at 9 am.  We may also be able to use the boardwalk (if it's completed by then; the boardwalk is currently under renovation) to walk along the St. Johns River to Blue Cypress Park and enjoy some good birding there as well.  Partially in a shady hammock and partially along the river and tidal marsh as it touches Blue Cypress Park, it provides excellent opportunities for birding and wildlife watching along the scenic river walk.

In addition, eBird Hot Spot Reddie Point Preserve is literally just on the other side of University Blvd North at 4499 Yachtsman Way - any who wish to continue birding can make the short drive over.

Directions: Arlington Lions Club Park is located off of University Blvd North.

From I-295 east beltway south of the St. Johns River, exit on Merrill Rd. Drive west 3 miles to University Blvd. Turn right. Drive 2 miles north, past the entrance to Blue Cypress Park, to Denby Gatlin Rd. Turn left. The park entrance is at the end of the road. Park your car in the first parking area on the left.

Location Arlington Lions Club Park off University Blvd. North
