Relevancy to the next generation starts with you. What does it mean to grow up with a national park in your back yard? This is the question I would ask my neighbors, school children, and students at any one of our four institutions of higher learning.

What answers would I get? What park? Its a great place for a picnic or to ride my bike. How about it is simply awesome to go to a place where people from France came in pursuit of freedom from religious persecution. Or, I am inspired by the natural scenery of the salt marshes and maritime hammocks of Cedar Point. How can we ensure that the national parks remain a national treasure for the next century of generations?
