You might not expect that the largest industrial park in Northeast Florida would be a good place for birding, but Westside Industrial Park is an exception with its many ponds. 190 species have been recorded at this location, making for some great birding opportunities. Weekends are the best time to visit when the volume of truck traffic is minimal.

We will meet in the parking lot at the northwest corner of Bulls Bay Highway and Pritchard Road. From there, we will carpool to keep the number of vehicles at a minimum. We’ll explore the various ponds and surroundings. Bring insect repellant, water, and waterproof shoes if we've had recent rain.
