**Walk starts at 10 am**

This year Duval Audubon is leading monthly walks for novice birders at the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve. Of course experienced birders are welcome too!

Spanish Pond is a great migration hot spot - part of the National Park Service’s Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve; some of the last untouched coastal habitat in northeast Florida. We will bird around the Spanish Pond boardwalk. We might see painted bunting, migrant warblers, a number of woodpecker species and two or three types of vireo.

Meeting place: Spanish Pond parking lot, directly across the street from the entrance to Fort Caroline; 12713 Fort Caroline Road, Jacksonville, FL.

No fee.
